Nutrition & Dietary Guidance | CMN Hospital

Nutrition & Dietary Guidance

Nutrition is an important part of the overall treatment program at CMN Hospital. Dr. Payan understands that every patient arrives with different diagnoses, treatment histories, nutritional needs, food sensitivities, and personal preferences. For that reason, dietary recommendations are individualized and may be adjusted throughout care based on the patient’s condition, laboratory findings, present health status, and overall treatment plan.

Meals provided within the hospital generally focus on fresh ingredients while limiting processed sugars, dairy, gluten, GMO products, pork, and beef. Stevia is commonly used in place of refined sugar. Some patients may also receive recommendations involving juices, protein support, nutraceuticals, specialized nutritional supplementation, herbal teas, or other dietary modifications depending on their individual needs during treatment.

Respecting Individual Preferences

Because patients travel to CMN Hospital from many different parts of the world, Dr. Payan and the hospital staff understand that individuals often arrive with personal dietary preferences, cultural food traditions, sensitivities, and different beliefs regarding nutrition during treatment. While nutritional recommendations and dietary adjustments may be made as part of the treatment program based on the patient’s condition and present health status, communication and patient comfort remain important throughout care.

Every effort is made to reasonably accommodate personal preferences whenever possible while helping patients feel respected, comfortable, and cared for during their stay at CMN Hospital. The goal is to help make the 28-day inpatient program feel as comfortable, nourishing, and supportive as possible while patients focus on treatment and recovery.

Comprehensive Nutritional Guidance

Nutrition and nutraceuticals are viewed as one part of a broader coordinated treatment plan designed to help patients maintain strength, support recovery, and better tolerate therapies throughout the inpatient program.

Below are examples of nutraceuticals, nutritional supplements, and supportive products that may be incorporated into individualized treatment recommendations during the inpatient program depending on the patient’s condition, nutritional needs, and physician evaluation.
