Dendritic Cell Therapy

Immune-Related Cellular Therapy

Dendritic cells are often referred to as the “messenger cells” of the immune system because they help identify abnormal cells and activate T-cells and additional immune responses within the body.

Research involving dendritic cells and cancer immunology advanced through the work of Nobel Prize-winning scientist Dr. Ralph Steinman, who discovered dendritic cells and their role in immune system activation while working at Rockefeller University in 1973.

Within Dr. Payán’s inpatient program, dendritic cell therapy involves the preparation, incubation, and activation of autologous dendritic cells using the patient’s own cells during coordinated treatment sessions.

Autologous Bone Marrow Stem Cell Therapy

Bone Marrow–Derived Cellular Therapy

Bone marrow plays an important role in immune system function and cellular regeneration within the body.

Within Dr. Payán’s inpatient program, autologous bone marrow stem cell therapy involves obtaining bone marrow aspirate under sedation within the operating room environment as part of the coordinated inpatient treatment process.

Coordinated Daily Therapies

Dendritic cell therapy and autologous bone marrow–derived stem cell therapy may be integrated alongside IV nutrient therapy, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UBI), Major Autohemotherapy (MAH) ozone therapy, laboratory services, imaging, and additional therapies coordinated throughout the inpatient program based on the patient’s condition and individualized treatment plan.
