Dr. Payán practices an integrative medical approach. When there are no medical contraindications, prescribed hormone therapy, oral cancer medications, or scheduled intravenous cancer treatments may be responsibly incorporated into the patient’s individualized treatment plan under his medical supervision.
Treatments are administered by licensed physicians and registered nurses and are carefully monitored throughout the inpatient stay.

Daily treatments are brought to the privacy of each patient’s hospital suite whenever appropriate, allowing patients to rest while remaining close to physicians, registered nurses, and hospital departments.
Receiving treatment within the hospital allows medications, laboratory services, diagnostic imaging, meals, daily monitoring, and supportive care to remain coordinated throughout the patient’s stay.
Supporting the Whole Patient
Physician-administered treatment and medical care remain the first priority at CMN Hospital. Patients also have access to a recreation room with art supplies, space for gentle movement, yoga mats, and a stationary bicycle during their stay.
