Dr. Almodóbar earned his Medical Surgeon and Midwife degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa in 2000 before completing his specialty training in Emergency Medical Surgery at the same university in 2020.
His postgraduate education included residency training at Hospital General Regional No. 1 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Culiacán, where he rotated through emergency medicine, trauma, internal medicine, nephrology, coronary care, metabolic care, and intensive care units while managing critically ill patients under specialist supervision.

Throughout his career, Dr. Almodóbar has served in emergency departments throughout Sonora, including Hospital Regional de Zona No. 12 IMSS and CMN Hospital in San Luis Río Colorado.
